The Massachusetts Hospital School, one of Massachusetts 'Best Kept Secrets', is located just 15 miles southwest of Boston in Canton, Massachusetts. The school is situated on 169 acres on the shore of Reservoir Pond. The gentle rolling hills, fields and woodlands, provide plenty of room for educational, recreational, & competitive athletic activities.

The four lane ¼ mile track was especially designed for wheelchair racing. Made of asphalt and painted blue, it is the fastest track east of the Mississippi!

The Recreation Center has a full size gymnasium, two lane bowling alley, cafeteria, weight room, and a four lane 25 yard heated swimming pool. A new indoor riding ring is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2004.

The mission of The Massachusetts Hospital School is to provide medical, rehabilitative, recreational and educational services to children and young adults who are physically disabled, assisting them to achieve their maximum level of independence in all aspects of life. The NEWAA is fortunate to be able to utilize the Massachusetts Hospital School for their track, field and swim facilities.
